about the Artist

JEON BO KYUNG

The artist creates works by grafting various materials
based on wood. Rooted in Korean sentiment, he reinterprets
Korean traditional aesthetics in a modern way. Through her
works, she stimulates the senses of the viewers and provides
new sensory experiences. Her works contain textures and
colors that seem to contain Korean nature, bright colors
reminiscent of the five cardinal colors, and shapes and
patterns that feel Korean sentiment. The artist is completing
her own world of works by interpreting Korean nature and
sentiment with her own unique and modern sensibility.

Paper Mulberry Stem Bowl

This is a mulberry stem dessert bowl created in the shape of a leaf to
hold simple desserts or refreshments. It uses the fiber stem of the
mulberry tree and goes through a step-by-step process of implementing a
natural texture with glutinous rice paste and finishing with a lacquer
technique. You can enjoy a unique and creative visual and tactile
sensation on the table with the natural and luxurious texture of
