about the Artist
KO YUYEON
The artist is inspired by the organic forms and textures
of nature. She develops her art furniture works based on
the motif of ‘modern artifacts’ whose subtle beauty lasts
a long time and leaves a lingering impression. In addition,
the artist contemplates the possibilities and goals that
ceramics can solve at the boundary between practicality and
art called art furniture. Such a process is born as the
artist’s own formative language.
Octagonal Small Table
This is a stone object that can be displayed in various ways depending
on the purpose of the individual space. A single stone can function as a
stool by itself. It is also a modular art furniture that can be used as
a side table, shelf, etc. by arranging or stacking two or more stones.
